Bug Description
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Rhythmbox crashes if I change the volume using the application slider in the main window. Sometimes right away, sometimes after freezing for a few seconds, sometimes it works for a while and then crashes when I try to do it again. Changing the volume with the system application control seems to work fine.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch Rhythmbox and start playing a file
2. Try to adjust the volume using the control in the application window
3. Watch Rhythmbox crash, sometimes after freezing and consuming high CPU for about 5 seconds.
