I had a similar problem. Fixed by running

u1sync --authorize

after removing the client computer from Ubuntu One via the web interface at https://one.ubuntu.com/account/machines/

If this is still a problem for you with the latest version of Ubuntu One you can reopen this bug report by changing the 'Status' to 'New'. The status of a bug report can be modified by clicking on the current status in the yellow line, which will reveal a sub menu. You can then set a new status in the drop down box. Also please provide any information asked for by Matt.

Please continue to report any bugs you may find in the future.
