Bug Description

I enabled the microblogging plugin and entered my Twitter username and password. I saved and validated them successfully. I am able to post to Twitter via GNOME Do, as expected. However, the next time GNOME Do starts (after a reboot, etc.), the password is no longer saved and I am not able to post to Twitter. Attempting to post to Twitter simply closes GNOME Do.

Even if I enter my name and password and hit Apply, I can immediately go right back into the properties of the plugin and the password field is already blank.

So basically, I have to keep putting my Twitter password into the properties of the microblogging plugin. If I reboot and forget to go in and re-enter the password, GNOME Do will crash when I attempt to post a tweet via GNOME Do.

Distribution: Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid)
gnome-do: 0.8.3.1+dfsg-1 0
gnome-do-plugins: 0.8.2.1+dfsg-2ubuntu1

I have the same problem but with the Google Docs plugin. When I go to Gnome-do preferences and enter my account information, my password gets deleted immediately after I close the configuration window.

My output when running gnome-do --debug after entering the password:
(Do:2766): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_entry_set_text: assertion `text != NULL' failed

I realized that gnome-do can access my google documents even when no password is stored, so my problem is solved.

I was a little too optimistic with my last response...I actually have the exact same problem as Kevin: the Google Docs plugin works if I enter my username and password but as soon as I reboot I have to go back into gnome-do preferences and reenter the password.

This is actually a problem in Lucid with the gnome-keyring mono bindings.
