Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-utils

The Disk Usage Utility (baobab) does not use the system colour scheme to draw its graphs, instead using hard-coded white as a backdrop. This causes it to be inaccessible to people with poor vision whom rely upon a high-contrast, dark theme for readability.

A. Little, Thank you for submitting a bug report and helping to make Ubuntu better. I very much appreciate efforts to make Ubuntu more accessible. It would help to have a screen-shot to demonstrate the issue that you are referring to.

Here is a screenshot of the hard-coded white background in the Disk Usage tool. It would be much easier to see if it took its foreground/background from the system scheme, like the folder tree on the left does. The theme used is Clearlooks.
