Bug Description
Binary package hint: gdm
The screen resolution sometimes becomes really small in gdm when running Ubuntu under VirtualBox.
This is a problem since the logic screen doesn't have enough place for its bottom bar to appear completely and this resolution becomes the desktop resolution after login which forces me to change afterwards it also triggers Bug #44082 which makes it worse.
I still think that the login screen should use the resolution the user set for the desktop, Automatically deciding a resolution for it isn't always right.
What I expected to happen:
The login screen would use the resolution I choose for the desktop and wont spontaneously choose a different resolution.
What happened instead:
The login screen sometimes uses a different resolution than the desktop and that resolution is sometimes to small or to big which makes it quite uncomfortable.
