Bug Description

Steps to reproduce
1. Right-click somewhere to open a context menu
2. Press a global hotkey (e.g. Fn + Volume up/down, contrast up/down)
Expected behaviour: hotkey should work, volume should change/ contrast should change => notification should appear etc.
Current behaviour: nothing changes=> notification doesn't appear
Tried on Ubuntu 9.10 with all updates, libgnome 2.28.0-0ubuntu3.

Could you please tell me where to find this bug, if it was reported before? Or mark this as a duplicate, because without this information, changing this bug to Invalid is not justified, in my opinion. Thank you in advance.

we get some thousand bug email a day at the moment so looking for number is not really an option, gtk needs to grab key events to get menus working that's a known issue and there is plenty of bugs about it, easy to find on launchpad or google search
