Upon installing Gnash, I am able to upload fine.

So...score another one for open-source!

Although working under Gnash, I noticed other Flash sites not working (Hulu, Nike).

So, I followed the tutorial here on installing the Alpha 64-bit version from Adobe, and all sites are now working - so far!

Still present in Lucid. It is present in other browsers and distros too, also in x86 I think. Probably Adobe Flash fault.

As it seems to be Adobe fault, perhaps this is no the place for this bug. Try to report to Adobe...

As a workaround, you can use Wine/PlayOnLinux Firefox's.

affects: firefox-3.5 (Ubuntu) → flashplugin-nonfree (Ubuntu)

An upstream version of Adobe Flash Player fixed the bug. Also Mediafire now doesn't need Flash Player to work, although is recommended.
Download from here and try ;) http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html

To install it remove any flash-player packages you have and un-tar the plugin into ~/.mozilla/plugins/

Changed in flashplugin-nonfree (Ubuntu):
