Bug Description

Some services from autostart need password immediately after login - e.g knetworkmanager for getting wifi passwords, amarok for connecting e.g Last.fm. It's very unconvinient typing password twice, one 20 seconds after first, in knetworkmanager we can strore password in plain-text file but it's only unsecure workaround. In amarok there is no such options and I hope it won't. It would be better if wallet would automatically open after typing password in kdm for x minutes or up to lock screen.

affects: launchpad → kdeutils

As i writed users will be annoyed by kdewallet popup at every startup so they will set options to not use it at all in client programs. It in fact will tend to less secure system. Each kde user has own wallet so why not connect PAM authentication with kwallet if we are sure the user didn't change through this e.g 1 minute. I don't understand your line of thinking on this subject.
