Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdm

Hi,

I'm running the Koala latest, since the Koala Beta.

I'm experiencing issues where 1 in 5 times the KDM does not present a username and password box. Instead, I still see the previous screen, with only the far-left harddisk illuminated.
As I am the only (and last used) user, my name will be displayed in the window that I can't see. So if I just type my password, it all works well.

I'm using the NVidia proprietary driver - latest from the repositories.
System info - Linux titanic 2.6.31-14-generic #48-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 16 14:05:01 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Happy to supply further detail if requested.
