Bug Description

Binary package hint: amarok

Kubuntu 9.10
Amarok 2:2.20-0ubuntu2

There is a 1..2 second delay between the user selecting a new track (by clicking or XF86Next), and Amarok stopping the old track and starting the selected track.

The problem disappears with a small (10 track) playlist.

How to reproduce:
  * Import a 9000-song library
  * Drag the library to the playlist
  * Set sorting to 'directory' + 'filename' (I don't know whether this is necessary)
  * Play a track
  * Select another track
