Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

System was set to use mostly defaults -- Desktop Wall with four desktops. While using CompizConfig Settings Manager, I get a crash warning and suddenly there are only -two- desktops. It doesn't matter what features I'm altering, though this most recent one was turning on Desktop Cube to replace Desktop Wall. The Settings Manager stays open and I appear to be able to make changes after the crash warning. This only started with a recent upgrade from 9.04 to 9.10.

Package versions:
compiz 1:0.8.4-0ubuntu1
compizconfig-settings-manager 0.8.2-0ubuntu1
