Bug Description

After installing ifolder3 from the PPA in Karmic (http://ppa.launchpad.net/marceloshima/ifolder/ubuntu) it doesn't start due to missing libeel showing the following error:

Exception in Gtk# callback delegate
Note: Applications can use GLib.ExceptionManager.UnhandledException to handle the exception.

However there is no libeel in Karmic anymore.

Thank you for the report, but this is not a launchpad bug, re-assigning to Ubuntu.
We're interested in why you accidentally recorded this bug as occurring in launchpad instead of Ubuntu. If you can explain what happened, please let us know in bug 88818.

temporary workaround:
Install libeel2-2 (http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty/libeel2-2) and libeel2-data (http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty/libeel2-data) from Jaunty until there is a permanent/official fix.

I haven't been able to get the workaround to actually work. I don't even get an error log.

Actually the 3.8 version starts up but doesn't seem to save configuration information between reboots. There don't seem to be any log files in the usual places.

Hello
Is this problem present with the latest updated Karmic's, Lucid's or Maverick's packages?
Thanks in advance
