Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace
With the KDE version of Jaunty, the notification icon in the systray disappeared when there wasn't any notification, or all notifications have been explicitly close. Now, with Karmic, the icon stays there and is just greyed-out. I'm not sure if this is a bug or the intended behavior, but it wastes screen estate in any case.
