failed to upgrade to Karmic Koala leaving the system in a dangling unstable state. This sort of stuff happens everytime I try to upgrade Ubuntu to any distribution and this totally sucks. Every time I have to backup all my stuff and do a fresh install and then reinstall a big bunch of tools that I need for my work. A good day or two gone. Very lame.
