i wish i could tell you all what happened. the o/s just choked and coughed up the crash notice; at least i had time to finish the data backup i was doing....whew! -- i have no clue what caused the sudden crash. i really like karmic, so please...please, fix it quick, okay? otherwise, i will have to revert back to my 'ole reliable hardy heron 8.04.3 -- j.n.mantas.
