Hi dberger,

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .

If it remains an issue, could you run the following command from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal). It will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report.

apport-collect -p linux 471985

Also, if you could test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results.

Thanks in advance.

Ok, sorry if that was messy, I used the apport tool and it was being finicky.

I'm running Linux Mint 10 x64 (based off of Ubuntu 10.10), and have a Marvell Yukon builtin gigabit LAN port, using sky2 driver).

I'm using a gigabit router (Asus N16 running Tomato) that is set to jumbo frames (MTU 9000).
It's connected to a Synology NAS which is also set to an MTU of 9000.

I've attached screenshots of copying files to the NAS when the MTU is at 1500 vs when it's at 9000.

Lastly, the copy was from a local disk to an SMB fileshare on the NAS.

If there's any more info I can provide, let me know (as well as a way to use apport in the future that doesn't spam this bug obnoxiously with singular file attachments)
