Bug Description

Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

when playing flash vidéos (especially on Facebook), the vidéo stops itself (normally, as if it completelly ended) precisely at half.
the video plays at normal speed and I can restart it, then go to the half and play the rest of it.

I suppose it is a timing bug, possibly related to the CPU :
- maybe the AMD cool'n'quiet CPU frenquency drop
- maybe the fact that it is a dual core CPU ?

it is noticable on ubuntu 9.04, 9.10, amd64 arch
reproductible with an Athlon X2 and another Turion X2

Thank you for your bug report! Can you still reproduce this on supported Ubuntu versions?

oh this bug is very old.
I haven't got the TurionX2 anymore, but I often use Ubuntu 11.10 on a small Intel dual core, an AMD PhenomII X4, and somtimes still use the Athlon64 X2. All are on amd64 arch.
I don't remember having this bug recently.

Playing flash videos on linux is just CPU intensive, but It's not the bug.
thanks !
