Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

Kubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty) auto-updated to 9.10 (Hardy). After completion of update, could not connect to Internet using Firefox 3.5 (also updated from ver. 3.04 @ same time). Still have ** LOCAL NETWORK ** (i.e., other computers) connectivity.

NOTE: This data being entered from Firefox 3.5 under WinXP Pro SP3 as the affected Kubuntu 9.10 will not allow web browsing, etc. after the Hardy "upgrade". (I presume) There was an error report generated on the "Hardy" pack, but, again, I cannot upload it as I have no access to the "Hardy" pack @ this time from WinXP Pro.
