Xubuntu shutdown: not clear display

Bug Description
Hi
When I do "restart" or "shutdown" from Xubuntu, I've got:
- First a terminal with the following displayed: "pc4 login"
- Second, after a rather long while, I move to Splash and the shutdown is then done correctly
My suggestion: don't show anything during the terminal session because it's confusing for the beginner who doesn't know he's just got to wait, nothing to enter.
