No sound

I'm not getting any sound from the Karmic RC on ia32.

At first I did get sound, but at a very low volume, and the pulseaudio daemon was using 100% of one of my cores.

So I killed pulseaudio and restarted it. Now I'm not getting any sound at all. The pulseaudio daemon is running.
