Bug Description

Binary package hint: policykit

Everytime after startup, I change the CPU frequency using the CPU frequency scaling monitor applet. It asks for authentication using the PolicyKit authentication agent window, I enter the password, I click on authenticate, and the password textfield disappears, but the authentication window stays open, and does not disappear, only if I click the close window button. The window should disappear after authentication, not only the textfield.
Using Ubuntu 9.10 and policykit 0.9-4ubuntu1

Yes, this bug affects to me, too.

That the processes "polkit-grant-helper" or "polkit-grant-helper-pam" starts when I want to authenticate.

When I enter a wrong password or the correct password:
nothing happen - the dialog stays open and clears the password box.

This have the highest importance - it should be viewed and fixed as fast as possible!
