Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-shell

You have to open the menu under applications/ more and switch to a category with a lot of entries and from there to page 2.This causes all others categoies to be on page two too. In the categories which only have a few entries on one page the applications are not visible. Gnome-shell 2.28.0-0ubuntu2 under Ubuntu 9.10 on a netbook with a 1024x600 pixel display.

Thank you for your bug report.

This has been fixed in the latest (unreleased) version of GNOME Shell, where the pagination got replaced entirely by a scrollbar. The fix will be available in Ubuntu Lucid as soon as the gnome-shell package gets updated to a later snapshot.
