Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

I am running Ubuntu 9.10, but also had this bug in Ubuntu 9.04.

When I choose "Bookmark this Page" from the Bookmarks menu, I then click the plus sign to the right of the Folder drop down menu. The list of my bookmark folders appears, but I can no longer select one with my mouse or with arrow keys. It's frozen.

I had tried upgrading Firefox on Ubuntu 9.04 when Firefox 3.5 first came out, but this problem made me decide to reinstall the older version. Now, the new Ubuntu (Karmic Koala) that I just installed via upgrade yesterday comes with Firefox 3.5 as the default, and, though it's been several months since this version came out, it is still an issue.

Upon further testing, it turns out it was the "Walnut Theme" that was the issue. When I tried other themes, the above problem went away.

No "walnut theme" here. The "edit this bookmark" window doesn't allow resizing, and the scroll bar doesn't scroll the associated window. Therefore one can't access the desired folder in which to put the bookmark.

I am experiencing the same problem. As a matter of fact when i click on one of the arrows in the window, firefox crashes!
As far as theme, I am using MacOSX 0.7.1... (would there be any connection?). Same architecture as above.

This just in: the main culprit in my case was MacOSX theme...
I reverted back to firefox default theme and everything works just fine.

I'm experiencing the same problem as Noah Anderson using the Walnut 2 theme, also, parts of the "edit this bookmark" window are not drawn or disappear, like parts of the scrollbar.
