Bug Description
Binary package hint: xkeyboard-config
In the German version of Ubuntu 9.10, both the KDE and Gnome version of the keyboard settings dialogue have an incorrect translation of Ctrl+Alt+Backspace in the option to enable a key combination to kill the X server. When enabled, Ctrl+Alt+Backspace does kill the X server, however, in the translation, it says Strg+Alt+Entf (which is Ctrl+Alt+Del in English).
This is due to an incorrect translation in xkeyboard-config.
The installed version of xkb-data is 1.6-1ubuntu5.
I attached a patch for this which translates "Backspace" as "Rücktaste". The file that has to be patched is po/de.po in the package xkeyboard-config.
