Bug Description

Binary package hint: refit

Release: karmic
refit version: 0.13-3ubuntu2

When the bootloader displays the available boot options, an Ubuntu install should be shown with a penguin icon and text such as "Boot Linux from PartitionName". Instead, a generic Boot Camp icon is shown, with the text "Boot Legacy OS from PartitionName".

It seems that the text for grub error messages recently changed slightly ( http://svn.savannah.gnu.org/viewvc/trunk/grub2/boot/i386/pc/boot.S?root=grub&view=log#rev2411 ), and rEFIt is still searching for the old string to identify grub. Since the only change was the trailing character (from nul byte to newline), we should probably make rEFIt search for only the start of the string without the trailing char.
