This bug and its duplicates were all reported against the version of software center in Karmic (1.0.2). There have been no reports of this bug (and I can't reproduce this issue) in recent development versions of software center in lucid (currently at version 1.1.14).

If practicable, please retest using the latest version in lucid and report here if this error still occurs. Thanks!
