Bug Description

HI All,

First off, great new feature. I'm really excited about this.

Onto the bug, I installed the bindwood package from the repos today (running karmic, up-to-date as of today) and relaunched firefox.

Firefox became unresponsive right away and after about 10 mins memory usage and disk activity was through the roof. Basically brought my system to a grinding halt. 4gb memory gone :( Killed FF, memory was restored.

I then re-opened FF and all seems 100%.

Note, I had several windows open and multiple tabs in each on relaunch. I have several years of bookmarks, i.e. lots of...

Quick question too, can I see the files in my Ubuntuone, to confirm something is happening? (excuse the laymen approach here, I got no idea how this works)

Let me know if you need anything else from me.

All the best
Brendan

Hi Brendan,

welcome on the same boat... ;)

This is a known bug (called "limitation") and it looks like it won't be fixed on karmic.
See https://bugs.launchpad.net/bindwood/+bug/443121 for more information.

I will mark this bug as a duplicate of it.

To your second question:
You can have a look at your desktop couch at file:///home/YOUR_USERNAME_HERE/.local/share/desktop-couch/couchdb.html in the bookmarks database. You won't see your bookmarks on ubuntu one.
