Bug Description

The Akonadi Google Contacts Resource does not synchronise phone numbers properly.
Phone numbers are always imported in Kontact/KAddressBook as "Home" numbers, independently of what they are classified remotely, e.g. "Mobile" or "Work". In addition, phone numbers of contacts having two or more phone numbers are not imported at all in Kontact/KAddressBook.

Ubuntu release: Kubuntu 9.10
Packages versions: akonadi-kde-resource-googledata-1.0.1, libgcal0-0.9.2

Best regards.

This feature has been implemented but the code has not been merged into the official repositories yet.
The patches are available here:
http://reviewboard.kde.org/r/2502/#review3585
Can you include these patches in the next release?

Best regards.

I've got the same problem. Also email addresses are not properly synchronised: if there are two or more email addresses no one is imported in Kontact.

Ubuntu release: Kubuntu 10.4. AMD64
Packages versions: akonadi-kde-resource-googledata-1.0.1-1build1, libgcal0-0.9.3-1

libgcal-0.9.4 together with akonadi-googledata-1.1.0 have been released. They fix the bugs mentioned above.
Here is the announcement: http://savago.wordpress.com/2010/06/11/libgcal-0-9-4-released/
Can you upgrade the Ubuntu packages to the last releases?

Best regards.

I had the same problem, and tried with libgcal-0.9.4 and akonadi-googledata-1.1.0. Now syncing contacts works again!

I compiled it from the sources

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libgcal/0.9.4-1
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/akonadi-googledata/1.1.0-1

in lucid, and it worked. All I had to change was the requirement of kdelibs 4.4.4, since Im running lucid with 4.4.2
