Bug Description

I receive no sound at all out of my Toshiba Sat Pro A120 laptop. I am using Ubuntu 9.10 however I had the same problem in version 9.04. When I performed the test on my system it appeared to find my sound card but I still get no sound. The sound device is not muted.

Installed Windows XP, updated the BIOS to the most up to date version and the sound now works in Ubuntu 9.10.
