A regression from the BETA/RC

After close lid, suspend is in my management options, Pulled electricity and now awake on battery.
Failed to suspend in fact, and upon opening lid karmic went into suspend mode....

This worked perfectly well in the final beta that I used..... Shall change to hibernate to see of that makes a difference.
