Bug Description
When I right click on the garbage applet and choose Empty Trash, both memory and CPU usage quickly skyrocket and within 15 seconds, my PC is frozen.
This problem is affecting a computer running 64-bit Ubuntu Karmic Koala. It is not replicable on my Jaunty laptop. This is affecting version 0.3.9 from the launchpad testing ppa. I began having this problem after installing awn and other system updates yesterday.

Could you describe what's in your trash folder?
For example:
* Top level: 3 files
** folder 1: 2 files
*** folder 1.1: 5 files
** folder 2: 1 file
