Bug Description

the system (ubuntu 9.10) cannot shut down the computer. the system 'freezes' at the 'Deactivating swap...' stage with the information appearing [1885.040243] Buffer I/O Error on device loop0, logical block 561159. the computer can be only shut down by holding the power button for 7sec.
