Bug Description

Firefox 3.5.3
Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala 64 bits
original karmic koala flash plugin 32
libflashplayer-10.0.32.18.linux-x86_64.so

When using firefox flash 32 bits flash plugin provided by karmic, it was problems on flash games clicking on the buttons in the flash window on many website (exemple: http://jeuxvideo-flash.com choose the game flashmind) , but youtube and dailymotion worked fine.

Then i decided following the documentation page of ubuntu to erase the existing traces of previous flash plugins and to install the 64 bit version, there is reverse, the games are working perfectly, daily motion too, but i get a crash of firefox which is closing itself when launching a youtube's video .

i could not get any error message on terminal when crashing.

Don't hesitate to contact me by email please for more informations or some log requests.

Hi,

If you are using the 64 bits flash plugin from Adobe website instead of the one from the karmic repository, you may want to take a look at this : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox-3.5/+bug/440110/comments/7

Hope this helps,
Sylvain
