Text field for messages to be sent is hidden

By default, the text field for messages to be sent is hidden. Apparently, it has to be dragged up from the bottom of the window, which is difficult to find without assistance.

It took me half an hour of poking around looking for menu items (under 'View') etc to figure out where the text input went after I upgraded to Karmic (32-bit). I vote for this.

I am raising this to Medium as it basically makes the application useless even on a clean install (which is where it hit me):
"A bug that has a severe impact on a non-core application"

This bug has been fixed in gwibber 2.29.90 thanks for the bug report
