Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

I noticed on installation of Sun Java that Java is not integrating. On youtube as well as other sites windows cannot be expanded and controls do not work; web browsing is pitiful. The new Karmic/3.5 Firefox is not as friendly/versatile as the old 3.0.14 in Jaunty. If fact, Firefox is slow, and often cannot find web sites....THIS IS A MAJOR BUG! I have re-installed several times and tried various configuration..ie: restricted vs. standard... synaptic install vs. software center (even though same) with no better results.

This is really a priority fix! I noticed this problem on Alpha, Beta, RC...still not fixed. If you don't have a solid web browser....you have nothing. Even as I tried to report this on launchpad...the mouse would not snap to the box! I had to do it with keyboard shortcuts. The browser works better without java installed...you just can't see content you want to.

Go to youtube...pick a video...play it...try to make it expand full screen...nothing happens. Open a new window...let it play full in new window (use arrows on youtube), after playing...try to replay....CRASH.
