Bug Description
Binary package hint: software-center
The new software center isn't removing software when I click the "remove button". It just seems to do nothing. I needed to remove Banshee to see if reinstalling would fix a problem. Tried uninstalling a few other unrelated programs just to see if it would let me and it doesn't. I'm not very tech savvy so other means of removing software on Ubuntu are a little over my head.

I might be wrong about this (I don't have 9.10 in front of me) but the "Remove" button marks a package to remove. This way, you can select multiple programs, and then click on Apply or something like that to start the removal process.
