evolution email Error while performing operation. DATA command failed: Insufficient system storage

Trying to send / receive email in Evolution email program 2.26.1, Ubuntu 9.04

Does not receive or send the email and I get the following error message:

Error while performing operation.
DATA command failed: Insufficient system storage.

Tried rebooting the computer to no avail.
