Bug Description
Binary package hint: network-

The network manager reports that the connection has been made to the internet.
When I surf a website, the webbrowser complains that there is no connection.
Solution: add the following lines to /etc/ppp/options
ipcp-max-configure 30
ipcp-max-failure 20

Confirming I also get this same bug in Karmic.
