Bug Description

Hello,
I've installed kubuntu 9.10 a hour ago and when I try to start my internet connection it does nothing.
I have been clicking and checking my data but I gave up and tried pppoeconf, now I am still on kubuntu, it's really nice and in comparison to Suse it's extremely fast.

The main problem is that I can't get my pppoe connection working from the interface.
However, i fixed this problem with the console.

I remember that I didn't put a password for the wallet when he asked me, I just clicked Create and I tried to connect.
It's it an issue ?

I got another bug which is related to my usb stick, because kubuntu 9.10 doesn't recognize it but ubuntu 9.04 does.

Thank you.

Updated RC yesturday, PPPOE didn't work, downloaded 9.10 release still didn't work.

All the same groups are selected in "Users and Groups" in my 9.04 and 9.10 installations.

With 9.04 I would have to try connecting over and over and eventually it would work, with 9.10 it just doesn't work no matter what, and it seems to try for less time too.

I used the instructions su instructions I found in the forums and had no luck. A few websites will work with my DSL but most, like Google, will not. Gpodder will not download. My Microsoft machine works fine to all websites. 9.10 is acting like when it was first released. I did a fresh install back then and DSL broke. Now it is broken again. I did the apt-get update and install. Is 9.10 the Vista release of Ubuntu? :)
