Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubiquity
The installer crashed three times, first time at startup ( don't know exactly ), second time at the timezone settings. now it crashed after collecting all informations in the last step.
And the installer was very very slow ( like windows ;-) )
using an eee pc 1000H
I will try it again... hopefully it works :)
sorry that I'm not able to give you more informations
Stefan

Exactly the same happens for me on an eeepc 1000H:
(1) Very slow installer (after klicking it needs up to five minutes to switch from timezone to keyboard-settgings)
(2) Installer finally crashes with an "Input/Output Error" (I checked MD5SUM for download and used usb-creator without errors)
(3) Live system on the same USB device is perfectly working
(4) Trying it again from within the live-system results in exactly the same error as described above
