Add a field for IRC channel URL

Rooms have a field where someone can put the URL of the icecast feed. It would be great if we could put the URL of the IRC room in there as well so remote participants can just click to join a room.

^^ that shows the icecast feed. If we could have the link to the IRC channel under that so that it shows up on the schedule grid that would be ideal.

The bug reports are asking for 'irc://' and the attached patch implements 'irc://', so that would seem the logic choice as it doesn't require more work other than merging (and it doesn't require infrastructure!).

Should an additional request be made for webchat, then perhaps one could ask that that be handled separately?

Right, in my opinion, just throwing up a simple irc:// style url would be a very simple, clean solution to the problem that I have -- I can't or won't join 30 new IRC channels during the week of UDS. Rather, when I walk into a session, and I get to the schedule, I'd like to middle click 3 times, and open 3 new tabs in my browser, to the a) blueprint, b) etherpad doc, and c) IRC channel.

Some IRC clients support irc:// URLs (Chatzilla) while others don't (irssi).

Webchats are necessarily slow/clunky/inefficient/laggy/broken :-) That's my opinion anyway. I'd love to see this fixed.
