Bug Description
Binary package hint: beagle
Beagle inserts an icon into the notification area. The icon does not notify of anything; when clicked, opens Beagle search window, which could be opened by a launcher all the same. Given that I already have "Tracker" applet in the panel, the icon is useless. There at least should be an option to disable it, ideally, on by default (a launcher on the panel, and Tracker applet give the same functionality and do not clutter notification area).

The workaround I found is to disable "Beagle search tool" in "Startup
applications". However, I think it still should be an option in
settings.
