Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-disk-utility

When I go to Places->Computer in my fully updated Karmic, I can see two CD/DVD drive icons for my only one DVD drive. Their labels are:

- CD/DVD Drive
- cdrom0

The cdrom0 icon is also placed in Places left pane of Nautilus window.

When I insert a CD into the drive:

- The CD/DVD Drive icon label changes to include the disk label.
- The cdrom0 icon label does not change at all.
- In the Places left pane of Nautilus window:
   - The cdrom0 icon remains unchanged.
   - A new CD icon appears with the same label as the inserted disk.
- If I click on the cdrom0 icon when a disk is into the drive, I get an error message saying that the place can't be mounted and that the special device /dev/hda doesn't exist.

According to that, it seems like the cdrom0 icon should not exist.

I attach two screenshots to illustrate the problem.

After some updates(probably after updating to kernel 2.6.31-15), I've looked into /etc/fstab and found there a line:
/dev/hda /media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 user,noauto,exec 0 0
Deleting of this line solved my problem, there is no more fake items in Places->Computer.
