virtualbox-ose-modules-2.6.24-27-generic is missing

I just performed an upgrade of Ubuntu 8.0.4 using the update-manager, which installed the latest kernel from the Ubuntu archives: 2.6.24-25. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the matching virtualbox-ose modules. So we need to get them uploaded to the ubuntu archives, and make virtualbox-ose-modules-generic and so on depend on them.

And I was expecting to see virtualbox-ose-guest-modules-2.6.24-25-generic, which is not installable from hardy (+proposed) either.

On another note, I have upgraded my host from Jaunty to Karmic now - I don't know if this changes anything.

After installing virtualbox-ose-guest-modules-2.6.24-25-generic version 24.0.11 the problem went away for me with Karmic on the host and Hardy on the guest. Mouse integration works fine again. Thanks a lot!

There's nothing waiting in hardy-proposed new; unsubscribing ubuntu-archive, there's nothing to be done on the archive side. A new upload of vbox-ose-moules is needed first.

Verified - I'm happy to report that virtualbox-ose-modules-2.6.24-27-generic from hardy-proposed installs and works perfectly well on Hardy 8.04 LTS.

installed and made my virtualbox run again.

i have one problem with shared folders showing only one file/subfolder per folder in some cases, but i changed from suns virtualbox to the ose version from the official repository so i do not think this is related to the kernel modules but another problem.
