images not correctly rendered with some zoom levels only

I just made a pdf with pdflatex including a colored png image. When opening the pdf with evince, it sometimes appears just in black and white. When i zoom in our out the image is shown correctly.

Thanks for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? Could you attach an example triggering that issue?

The strange thing is that most of the time the image is shown correctly.
Sometimes you have to zoom a lot in and out to reproduce it.

Dapper uses poppler 0.5.1 with splash

I too have this problem with png images in pdfs. Its random and sometimes can
go away by changeing the zoom size when view the pdf. I'm using kpdf with
poppler 0.5.3 on a Gentoo box running KDE 3.5.4.

the issue is fixed in the current version closing the bug, you can reopen if that's still an issue for you though
