[Karmic] Kaffeine doesn't allow instant recording dvb-t through the disk icon

I've recently installed kaffeine on Ubuntu Karmic beta (using gnome) on a macbookpro 5.5
Scheduled recording from dvb-t works fine. But instant recording, through clicking on the disk icon in the lower left part of the main interface does nothing to me.

For me it works as expected with the same version 1.0~pre2-0ubuntu1. If I press the button, I get an overlay displayed which states "Instant Record Started". When I press again, the overlay states "Instant Record Stopped".

I can then find the recording in the folder configured for recordings in the dialog for settings of DVB-T.

Any update on this? Where in the described steps does your behavior differ?

No response for a long time, therefore closing INVALID for now, please reopen with more information if you can reproduce this problem with latest package-updates.
