Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Description:

When you type the word "architected" OpenOffice.org will either change it automatically to "architect ed," or underline it in red and suggest changing it to "architected."

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open OpenOffice.org Writer (Applications -> Office -> OpenOffice.org Writer)
2. Type the word "architected" (without double quotes).
3. Press the space bar or Enter key

Expected results:

The word "architected" would remain unchanged and not underlined in red.

Actual results:

The word "architected" is changed automatically, or underlined in red.

Architect may not be a verb today, but it will be one day. The word
architected is already in common use, just like doctored. Also, not
that it's the pinnacle of perfection, but MS Word treats architected
as a word.

Technically speaking, I can confirm the "problem" with the US dictionary. However, I won't comment on the noun/verb talk ;-)

I just looked it up in various online dictionaries: There is no such word as "architected" in the English language. Therefore (and because this bug was unattented for 2 years now) I am closing it now.
