Bug Description

Hello,
it would be great if there is a way to define an order for the networks to log in.
I have several networks in my neighbourhood with different essids and sometimes network-manager is not connecting to my network.
So setting a priority which networks to try first would be great.
Thanks
Christoph

Agreed. I always get connected to my neighbor, then have to reconnect to my network, Magrathea, manually.

Good idea! This would be very useful as sometimes NM connects to an open network in my neighborhood as soon as it looses contact to my own network.
I don't want NM to connect to this network at all, because it has no access for me to the internet.

I guess, this is the wrong place for this feature request.

This request should be reported upstream.

well, it's definitively a must-have for good roaming.

I'm available for testing purpose in case of upstream patch...

this bug is quite old and drivers as well as network manager improved a lot. I am quite sure that this particular issue is fixed. if not, feel free to reopen.

There is still no way to define a priority list in network manager when multiple networks are available. This feature would be indeed very useful.
