Bug Description
Play 0.3.1b (1105): When the "[x] Automatically adjust sample rate" checkbox is checked in Preferences/Output, then sometimes, after I play another file with a different sample rate and bit depth, I'll hear nothing although play cursor is moving as if the track is playing. My playback device is set as "Built-in audio output" and it's digitally connected to Gracedesign m902 monitor controller via optical cable. m902 is sync'd to MacBook, therefore, via optical TOSlink connection.
I first played a 48Khz/24-bit WAV file, followed by a 44.1Khz/192kbit MP3 file. The WAV file played correctly and m902 monitor controller locked at 48Khz (I can see that via its leds on the front panel). When I then hit play on the MP3 file, m902 switched to 44.1Khz, which is absolutely correct, but there was no output sound although playing cursor was moving as if the track was playing. Furthermore, I cannot afterwards play ANY other track at any sample rate, even the original WAV file that played successfully the first time. I have to restart Play to be able to play music again.
