Bug Description

Binary package hint: x11-xserver-utils

* Clicked "Previous" on "System Testing" utility.
* The current test was manually assessed as "No" (failed - nothing happened - see other bug report) (Click Test to switch to another virtual terminal and then back to X. Your screen will change temporarily to a text console and then switch back to your current session.)
* Dialog box asking whether to submit bug is displayed
* Clicked "no"
* Utility advanced to the next test (Modem) (not the previous test as expected)

I'm not sure whether this bug report really falls under x11-xserver-utils, but this is automatically selected by the utility, and I don't know where this should go.

$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 9.10
Release: 9.10

2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy packagename' or by checking in Synaptic.

Hi quincy-tse,

Please attach the output of `lspci -vvnn` and `dmesg`, and attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log (and maybe Xorg.0.log.old) file from after reproducing this issue. If you're using a custom /etc/X11/xorg.conf please attach that as well.

x11-xserver-utils is almost never the right package to file against. Most bugs filed against it really should have been filed against the appropriate video driver. But this one belongs to checkbox.

affects: x11-xserver-utils (Ubuntu) → checkbox (Ubuntu)
